How to Wash and Care of Your MUUGI

100% Silk Circular Rib Series
Our 100% Silk Circular Rib Knit is made from 100% washable silk. So you can easily wash it in your home washing machine. However, silk is still a delicate fiber. Follow our care instructions for your silks, and you will enjoy the best texture for a long time.
- Use neutral detergent, detergent for silk, or ‘Delicate Wash’ detergent. Please refrain from using bleach.
- Be sure to select a cold, delicate cycle on your washing machine, which is usually called ‘delicate’ or ‘Hand Wash’.
- Be sure to place your silks in the mesh laundry bag. It protect it from tangles and snags in the washing machine.
- Animal fibers (silk and wool) may transfer dye between each other. For example, if black silk and white silk are washed together, the black dye may transfer to the white silk. To prevent this, it is recommended to wash them separately as much as possible, or wash them together with similar colors (darker colors, lighter colors, etc.).
- If left wet, the color may migrate to other items. Dry it immediately.
- Line dry in the shade. Hang Tank Tops on hangers or fold them in half to dry. Camisoles should be folded in half or hung by the hem to dry. Do not hang the shoulder straps — the weight of the moisture may stretch them.
- Silk absorbs ultraviolet rays, so it may turn yellow when exposed to the sun. To prevent this, hang dry in the shade for a short period of time and avoid direct sunlight. Also, store it in a place where it is not exposed to sunlight or fluorescent light.
- Can be placed in dryer on Tumble dry low heat, but it may shrink slightly.
- After drying, use a steamer to restore the shine and smoothness of your clothes, making them look like new in no time.
- The attached cups will last longer if they are removed and washed separately, if possible. The cups alone should be washed gently by hand. When washing them together in a washing machine, we recommend choosing the gentlest cycle.
Cotton & Silk Rib Series 100%
You can easily wash MUUGI Cotton & Silk Rib Series in your home washing machine. Follow our care instructions for your clothes, and you will enjoy the best texture for a long time.

Super 180's Merino Wool Series
Our 100% Merino Wool Series uses ultra fine 14.5μ fibers, equal to or finer than cashmere, with a shrink-resistant finish that can be washed in water at home. Follow our care instructions for your clothes, and you will enjoy the texture of this very delicate fiber for a long time.
- Be sure to use neutral detergent, or ‘Delicate Wash’ detergent. Use of a mild alkaline detergent may cause shrinkage. Use of fabric softener is also recommended. Please refrain from using bleach.
- Hand wash or select a cold, delicate cycle on your washing machine, which is usually called ‘delicate’ or ‘Hand Wash’. When hand washing, please wash by pressing gently and slowly. Avoid wringing or scrubbing, as it may cause felting and shrinkage.
- Be sure to place your clothes in the mesh laundry bag. It protect it from tangles and snags in the washing machine.
- Animal fibers (silk and wool) may transfer dye between each other. For example, if black silk and white silk are washed together, the black dye may transfer to the white silk.
