From our ultra-fine 100% Merino Wool collection, the 100% Merino Wool Jersey Crew Neck Short Sleeve Tee is reintroduced in a renewed design (formerly known as the 100% Merino Wool Jersey Short Sleeve Tee).
Made from exceptionally fine 14.5-micron (Super 180's) merino wool, this jersey fabric offers a luxurious feel alongside outstanding functionality. Naturally insulating, highly breathable, and odor-resistant, it is a material designed for comfort in every season. With this high-performance fabric, we present a classic crew neck short sleeve tee—refined as an everyday essential for year-round wear.
The 100% Merino Wool Jersey 2-Way Short Sleeve Top, currently in our lineup, features a wider neckline that allows it to be worn comfortably as innerwear. Its compact French sleeves are also designed to remain discreet under outer layers. This style has been especially popular among those looking for a short-sleeve inner piece. At the same time, we have often been asked for a design that feels easier to wear on its own as a T-shirt—something with a more structured, close-fitting crew neckline, or slightly longer sleeves.
In response, we revisited our previously released short-sleeve tee and refined its design with the concept of creating a basic piece that can be worn effortlessly on its own. The neckline is finished with a 12mm-wide binder neck that sits neatly at the collar, while the sleeves are designed with a balanced width—neither too wide nor too narrow. The result is a versatile, all-season staple that works just as well on its own as it does in layered styling.
Compared to the previous version, the most significant updates are in the neckline and construction. The neckline has been raised and reworked into a binder-neck finish, matching the specification used in our 100% Merino Wool Jersey Crew Neck Long Sleeve Tee. In addition, the sleeves have been slightly widened and the length extended for improved balance and wearability.
If the former model could be described as sitting somewhere between a visible T-shirt and innerwear, this renewed version shifts more clearly toward being a T-shirt meant to be shown. Of course, it can also be styled as a visible base layer—worn under cardigans and jackets, peeking out from under knits, or layered beneath turtlenecks in cooler weather.
