Minor Update to Our 100% Silk Long Boy Shorts
Our 100% Silk Long Boy Shorts (which also serve as mid-thigh leggings) are being reintroduced with a minor update. This versatile item is designed to be worn on its own as underwear or layered over other pieces as short leggings.
In this update, we have refined the leg opening's elastic to a wider, softer type. While the previous elastic rested as a "line" against the skin, the new version is designed to rest as a "surface." By distributing the pressure across a wider area, this design provides a gentler fit that feels like an extension of your skin.
While our priority has always been to create a non-constricting fit, we believe this update makes the leg openings feel even less constricting than before. We have also slightly extended the inseam length for enhanced comfort.
To ensure these can be worn comfortably as a single layer, the shorts feature a double-layered gusset made from the same 100% silk fabric. All seam allowances in the crotch area are carefully finished to ensure they do not irritate the skin.
Furthermore, the seams at the leg openings are placed on the outside to prevent any friction against the delicate thigh area. The elastic is also fully encased within the fabric, so it never comes into direct contact with your skin.
Available in two sizes: M and L. Please note that our sizing follows Japanese standards, which is approximately one size smaller than Western standards. We recommend choosing one size larger than your usual US or EU size for the best fit.
Since the 100% natural fiber fabric offers soft horizontal stretch, the material will naturally adapt to your body shape over hours of wear, resulting in a personalized, gentle fit. While the leg openings may feel snug each time you first put them on, they will gradually soften into a comfortable fit as you move. Thanks to the fabric's natural resilience, they will return to their original shape after each wash.
The waist features a slightly high-rise cut that comfortably covers the stomach, sitting near or just over the belly button for a secure feel.
