New Colors Oyster and Dark Purple Join the 100% Silk Tops Collection

The 100% Silk Tops collection now features two new colors: Oyster and Dark Purple.

First, Oyster.

After much trial and error in search of a new basic light tone for MUUGI, we arrived at the color Oyster. Positioned between light gray and beige, it's a hue that could be described as a light greige. We experimented with subtle variations in the amount of yellow and red undertones, as well as the brightness, to find just the right balance. Paying close attention to how it complements silk fabric and considering its versatility in pairing with other clothes, this final color was born.
It's a truly indefinable shade, sitting perfectly between beige and light gray. This ambiguous hue exudes an air of intelligence and serenity. Its chameleon-like quality allows it to appear different depending on the colors it’s paired with, making it a versatile and ever-changing color.
This light gray, with its faint hints of yellow and red, has a warm tone that harmonizes with a wide range of colors, from browns and grays to cool and warm hues. It’s a versatile shade, perfect for bridging different styling elements and becoming a key player in any wardrobe.

We’ve introduced Oyster in four styles: the High Neck Top, Crew Neck Long Sleeve Top, Long Sleeve Tee, and Short Sleeve Tee.

From top to bottom, we’ve lined up the new colors: Oyster, Ecru, and White. Compared to Ecru, Oyster is slightly darker and leans more towards beige and gray. However, when placed together, you can sense a warm tonal connection between the shades. It’s a color that combines the softness of beige with the coolness of gray.

Next, Dark Purple.

Dark Purple was developed as a rich, nuanced color that can be worn on its own, adding depth and subtle sophistication to any outfit. While it brings elegance and a touch of vibrancy to a look, its subdued saturation and brightness make it an easy choice for a chic ensemble. In low light, the color appears as a deep, rich purple, while in the light, the silk's natural sheen brings out a luxurious, radiant purple. This shade exudes both nobility and refinement.
